Herd sire 431 or "CJ" was purchased at the Harlands dispersal sale in April of 2005. He weighed 2,620 lbs on his 4th birthday. He is a "Calving Ease Specialist" that sires lots of 70's birth weights. CJ "a maternal trait breeder" is in the top 1% of the breed in CED, BW, M, & CEZ. CJ is sired by 9 trait leader HH Advance 767G 1ET. His dam 505 is a 13 year old donor cow sired by GB L1 Domino 804 the most highly used L1 bull in the breed. CJ is IE-Free. Great Plains Breeders Service Shamrock, TX will be collecting semen on CJ this spring.

New herd sire Ram Boy co-owned with Largent & Sons of Kaycee, WY and Brad Stuart of Roby, TX will see first use Spring 08 at ML Cattle. A son GH Rambo 279R a popular Horned Hereford sire that is making a early impact as a breed changer. Ram Boy is definately unique with tremendous eye apeal and outstanding growth and carcass potential. We are excited about the genetic diversity & phenotypic assets this bull offers. We plan to offer semen on the young herd sire soon.
